Ko Jin-young soared to the top of the ANA Inspiration leaderboard following Saturday’s third round.
South Korean Ko earned a one-stroke lead thanks to her four-under-par 68 in Rancho Mirage in California.
The world number five tallied seven birdies, including four in five holes, to leapfrog overnight leader Kim In-kyung.
Kim led by three strokes heading into the penultimate round of this year’s opening major tournament on the LPGA Tour.
Jin Young Ko almost eagles from the fairway, then taps in for birdie to get to 9-under, good for a two-stroke lead.
